3 Daily Habits that will make you more Elegant

Updated: Dec 31

Once you've decided that you want to live a more elegant life and become the best version of yourself, the first step is to come up with routines that will take you where you want to be. Staying consistent is what will get you the results you want, and that starts with small action steps every day. Here are 3 daily habits that are sure to make you more elegant:

  1. Make your bed

This may seem insignificant and you may be thinking, what does the state of my bed have to do with elegance? This simple and quick daily habit serves two purposes: first, it gives you motivation to complete more tasks during the day since you'll have already completed a task first thing in the morning. In addition, making your bed will make your space look neater and cleaner, motivating you to keep the rest of your space tidy. Keeping a tidy and clean space is critical for your mindset, well-being, self-perception, and productivity.

2. Move your body

This habit is essential not only for your physical health, but also your mental health and motivation. Moving your body daily in whatever way is comfortable and sustainable for you will help you reach your fitness goals and give you an opportunity to be present while relieving stress. This can look like daily walks, runs, or regular trips to the gym. If you don't know where to start, signing up for a few classes a week at your local gym is a great option!

3. Plan and prepare for your day in advance

This is a habit that isn't always easy to keep up, but when you manage it, the effects on your day are hard to deny! Set aside 10 to 15 minutes each night at the beginning of your evening routine and look at your schedule for the next day. Prepare your outfit, gym bag, work/school supplies, and anything else that you'll need. This is the best way to ensure that you're well-prepared and well dressed the next day. It is particularly important for looking elegant and put-together, as this is a lot harder to do early in the morning when you might lack the motivation. Try it out for a few days and see how it affects your mornings.
